SAFETY RULES

Use according to label: Plant protection products or other gardening products should only be used in accordance with the recommendations provided on the label of each product. Before use, carefully read the label as well as any hazard information and application instructions.

Personal protective equipment: Depending on the product (e.g., insecticide, fungicide, herbicide, fertilizer), use appropriate protective clothing, gloves, and eye protection as recommended on the label. Pay special attention to the requirements for skin, respiratory, and eye protection.

Appropriate user selection: Some products (especially plant protection products intended for professional use or with a high hazard level) may only be purchased and used by adult persons with qualifications specified by legal regulations (e.g., authorization for plant protection product application). Before purchase, check the legal requirements applicable in the given country/region.

Preparation of working solution: When diluting preparations, pour the product into a partially filled sprayer (or other application device) with water, then top up with water to the appropriate level and mix thoroughly. Never pour water into the concentrate of the preparation – this may cause an uncontrolled reaction or splashing.

After using the solution or emptying the packaging: The packaging should be rinsed three times with water, and the rinse liquids should be poured into the sprayer according to the manufacturer's recommendations. Only after such rinsing can the packaging be considered ready for disposal.

After treatment: Depending on the product, it may be necessary to wait until the solution has completely dried or a specified time has elapsed before re-entering the treated area. Always follow the waiting periods or pre-harvest intervals clearly stated on the label.

Handling packaging: Empty packaging from gardening products should be handled according to label instructions, including thorough rinsing (three times, as described above) and disposal according to local regulations for hazardous waste. Do not use empty packaging for other purposes.

Environmental safety: Some gardening products may be toxic to aquatic organisms, bees, other beneficial insects, or soil. Strictly follow the environmental protection recommendations on the label (e.g., prohibition of use near water bodies, maximum dose specifications, avoiding application in windy weather).

Safety Data Sheets (SDS): The manufacturer or supplier provides Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) for their products, containing detailed information on composition, hazards, precautionary measures, emergency procedures, and toxicological data. Consult them before using the product and keep them in an easily accessible place for all users.

FIRST AID MEASURES

Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth, drink a glass of water. Seek immediate medical assistance, show the product label.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

Store in original packaging, in a cool, dry, and closed place.
