Z okazji 25-lecia powstania Cappelli Gedanensis, jako Instytucji Kultury Miasta Gdańsk, oddajemy w Państwa ręce wyjątkową płytę zawierającą zbiór najpiękniejszych polskich kolęd.

Nagranie zostało dokonane w 1997 roku w Archikatedrze Oliwskiej, jako pamiątka niezwykłego noworocznego spotkania ze Świętym Janem Pawłem II. Dyrektor Polskiej Filharmonii Bałtyckiej Roman Perucki, Alina Kowalska-Pińczak i wiele innych osób dobrej woli wspólnymi siłami zorganizowało ponad 100 wokalistów, a skład zespołu został poszerzony o Orkiestrę Filharmonii Bałtyckiej. Cappella Gedanensis wzięła udział w wyjątkowej Mszy świętej w Watykanie, która była elementem otwierającym obchody Tysiąclecia Miasta Gdańska.
