Termin "zabójca" zazwyczaj ma silnie negatywny wydźwięk i już samo jego pojawienie się w mediach wywołuje natychmiastową reakcję, przybierającą postać wzburzonej dyskusji społecznej dotyczącej okoliczności sprawy. W takiej sytuacji pojawia się presja wymierzenia stosowanej kary dla sprawcy popełnionego czynu. W organach ścigani karnego panuje pewnego rodzaju kult śledztwa w sprawach zabójstw, wyrażający się w nadawaniu priorytetu i szczególnej rangi tego rodzaju sprawom. (...) Już podczas oględzin miejsca zdarzenia nasuwa się mnóstwo pytań, wątpliwości, a także określane są priorytety i kwestie, które należy rozstrzygnąć. W tym dociekaniu ustalanie danych dotyczących anonimowego, domniemanego sprawcy zajmuje główne miejsce.

Autorka podjęła się trudnego zadania stworzenia portretu hybrydowego nieznanego sprawcy zabójstwa w oparciu o algorytm identyfikacyjny. Tytułowe zdanie zostało zrealizowane w sposób optymalny, przy zastosowaniu pożądanej w tego typu pracach formuły interdyscyplinarnej. Zastosowanie optymalnego zestawu metod badawczych, w tym analizy akt prawomocnie zakończonych spraw karnych z przepisu art. 148 k.k., doprowadziło do uzyskania ważnej, zwłaszcza z pragmatycznego punktu widzenia, wiedzy naukowej (zweryfikowanej). Tym samym zrealizowana została potrzeba opracowania algorytmu identyfikacyjnego budującego wizerunek nieznanego sprawcy zabójstwa, który może zwiększyć szanse na jego identyfikację.
