List of ride-on safety warnings based on the requirements of Regulation (EU) 2023/988 on General Product Safety (GPSR):
1. Falling hazard:
* Ensure your child uses the ride-on on a flat, even surface, away from steps, thresholds, and other obstacles.
* Supervise your child while playing with the ride-on to prevent falls and injuries.
* Ensure your child wears appropriate footwear and protective clothing, such as a helmet and protective gear.
2. Choking hazard:
* Regularly check the ride-on for loose parts or small parts that may pose a choking hazard to small children.
* Never allow children to put parts of the ride-on in their mouths. 3. Crush Hazard:
* Be careful not to pinch the child's hands or feet in the moving parts of the ride-on, such as the wheels or folding mechanisms.
* The ride-on should only be used by one child at a time, unless the manufacturer expressly allows otherwise.
4. Injury Risk:
* Rides should not be used near streets, roads, or other areas with vehicular traffic.
* Teach your child how to properly use the ride-on and how to avoid dangerous situations.
5. Weight and Age Restrictions:
* Observe the weight and age restrictions specified by the manufacturer. Using the ride-on by a child who exceeds these limits may be dangerous.
* The ride-on should be appropriate for the child's motor skills.
6. Care and Maintenance:
* Regularly inspect the ride-on for damage, cracks, or wear.
* Use only original replacement parts recommended by the manufacturer.
* Clean the ride-on regularly to prevent the accumulation of dirt and debris. 7. Batteries (if applicable):
* If the ride-on is battery-powered, use only batteries recommended by the manufacturer.
* Batteries should be replaced by an adult.
* Unused batteries should be kept out of the reach of children.
8. Storage:
* The ride-on should be stored in a dry and safe place, away from heat and moisture.
* Ensure the ride-on does not constitute an obstacle or trip hazard.
9. Modifications:
* Do not make any modifications to the ride-on that are not approved by the manufacturer.
