Wojenne wspomnienia Bolesława Burskiego publikowane są po raz pierwszy, niemal 80 lat od ich spisania. Autor został aresztowany w grudniu 1942 roku z powodu działalności konspiracyjnej. Więziony najpierw na Pawiaku, następnie w niemieckich obozach koncentracyjnych w Lublinie na Majdanku i w Auschwitz. Zbiegł z transportu ewakuacyjnego do KL Mauthausen.

Bolesław Burski "Jasieńczyk"(1905-1984) - legionista, harcerz, działacz Polskiej Partii Socjalistycznej, żołnierz Armii Krajowej. Z urodzenia warszawianin, ale większą część dorosłego życia spędził w Dąbrowie Górniczej, gdzie zajmował się projektowaniem terenów zielonych.

Publikacja opracowana przez Państwowe Muzeum na Majdanku.
