Kapitan Żbik, bohater najdłuższej polskiej serii komiksowej, wydawanej w latach 1968-1982, stał się jednym z najpopularniejszych herosów popkultury z czasów PRL. Tysiące młodych czytelników wysyłało listy do komendy głównej MO, zgłaszając zaobserwowane przestępstwa, prosząc o radę lub też o uzupełnienie brakujących komiksów. Zeszyty z przygodami Żbika były kilkukrotnie wznawiane, osiągając w sumie ponad dziesięć milionów nakładu. Teraz przypominamy je w wydaniu zbiorczym.
W drugim tomie zamieszczono: jedenaście zeszytów serii (#10-20), dodatkowe ilustracje oraz biogramy twórców.
