Platoński Parmenides należy do późnego okresu twórczości Platona. Uznawany jest za jeden z najtrudniejszych jego dialogów (zarówno w formie jak i w treści). Zajmuje się w nim Platonpokazem swej dialektycznej metody rozumowania.
