Cykl felietonów nazwałem "Od strony ogrodu". Spośród czterech stron świata ta strona sercu mojemu najbliższa, bo od strony ogrodu znaczy nie od frontu, nie od ulicy. Ogród jest ziemskim znakiem raju. Na ulicy zgiełk, w ogrodzie słychać rozmowy drzew i ptaków. Literatura też ma wiele stron. Od ulicy promocje, profesorskie opinie, krytyczne sądy, system nagród, ustawianie hierarchii. W ogrodzie można napić się kwasu chlebowego i porozmawiać, spytać się, o co chodzi. Nie jestem felietonistą, jestem od pisania powieści i opowiadań.
